Dairy Development
The milk procurement, processing and marketing in the State is being undertaken by the H.P. State Milk Federation Limited. Federation Procures milk from farmers at minimum support price through cooperative societies and after processing the milk sell it in Urban areas. During the last year, Milk Federation procured 100.89 lakh litres of milk from the farmers. Annual turn over of Milk Federation is approximately Rs. 1.00 Crore.
